Hey Gang! I’ve been busy with work and Halloween shenanigans so a few things of note have slipped past me as of late that I feel I should mention.
First, the King of the Unknown Facebook page has finally broken the 100 Like threshold, so thank you to everyone who follows this page and our irregular (gots ta do something about that…) postings, and for reading the comic. You all have exquisite taste in your interweb habits!
Second, last week some KotU art made it on Comics Alliance’s Best of Art Halloween edition, which is pretty rad because I love Comics Alliance and read that website religiously. So check that out here.
Third, a few weeks back I did a comic for the fine folks over at the Gutters, which you can check out here.
Hmm, I’m sure there’s something else that I’m forgetting, but I think that’s good for now.
More King is in the works though, so stay tuned!
Wow! I can’t believe it, but King of the Unknown beat up some mummies on the hood of his sweet ride made it onto Comics Alliance’s Best Art Ever this week! To all the other artist’s who’s awesome artwork that has to be grouped with my demented fat Elvis scribblings, I’m sorry but I’m pretty damn happy that KotU made it on there!
Thank you Comics Alliance! My bribe of booze, pizza rolls, and Chuck E. Cheese tokens is in the mail!
Hey Gang! If you checked out this week’s Best Webcomics Ever feature on Comics Alliance, you may have noticed a familiar face on there amongst some other awesome webcomics. It looks like my bribes of cheap liquor and copies of Juggs magazine finally paid off! >Achem< I mean, surely they noticed the fine craftsmanship of the storytelling in the comic, and the high brow comedic sensibilities contained within it, and just had to feature it upon viewing such wonders of sequential artistry. Anyway, thank you Comics Alliance, I salute you the only way I know how…with the 3 Bro Tap Salute! -Marcus
